How to get excerpt from the Criminal register on legal entity

Information from the Criminal register of legal entities which are specified in an excerpt from the Criminal register are publicly accessible and for this reason there is no need to verify the identity of the person who submits application.

How can you get the excerpt from the Criminal register of the legal entities?

Unlike of procedure for filing application for an excerpt from the criminal register of individuals, the establishment of the applicant’s identity is not required. This means that application for an excerpt from the criminal register of legal entities can be submitted by anyone who does not need to prove the relationship to the legal entity to which the application relates. 

To the applicants who have no opportunity to use any of following procedures for example to the applicants from abroad the excerpt can be mediated by any person who does not need to prove the empowerment to submit an application.

a) Legal entity “has” identity number (IČO) registered in Czech Republic

  • while you wait in a contact point of the CzechPOINT system (local and municipal authority, branch office of the CzechPost and the Czech chamber of commerce, notary). Addresses and business hours of contact points are presented on: http://www.czechpoint.cz.
    Attention:
    Excerpts issued in contact point of the CzechPOINT system are primary designed for usage in the territory of the Czech Republic.
    For usage abroad is necessary to obtain an excerpt issued by the Criminal Register of the Czech Republic,
  • while you wait in the seat of the Ministry of Justice, Praha 2, Legerova 1877/7 (underground station I.P.Pavlova, line C)

  • By mail on adress: Ministerstvo spravedlnosti, Legerova 1877/7, 120 00 Praha 2
    To the application is necessary to attach the revenue stamp with a value of 100,-CZK. The form of application you may find bellow. The application will be processed within about 3 working days and the excerpt will be sent by registered mail at the given address in Czech Republic.

b) Legal entity “has not” identity number (IČO) registered in Czech Republic
